Thank you again for visiting. I have one more set of Valentine's Day themed styles, which I will post soon. I also have an Valentine's Day Alpha I am working on, and will post that soon as well.
More freebies for you! This time it's the beginning of an early Valentine's Day theme. I know it's a little early! But with the reorganization of my web and blog, I had to stick them somewhere!
A big Welcome to new visitors, and a hearty Welcome Back if you've been here before. Today I have more silver layer styles for you. And best of all... they're free!
While you're here, why don't you take a look through my archives? There are lots of freebies there, and all downloads are still active. And don't forget to come back tomorrow for... you guessed it! More layer style freebies!
Previous visitors to this blog may notice that something is missing. And what is that, you might ask? Well... it's my Photoshop Style-A-Day freebies. They're not actually missing, though. I started reorganizing all of my styles, and then wound up redoing all of the posts in this blog to reflect those changes. All of the styles are still here, and still free - just maybe not in the same exact sets..
The first couple of sets are still Halloween themed - oranges, purples, greens and blacks. So without further ado, here's my first set of free Photoshop styles:
I've always enjoyed doing counted cross stitch, and have seen a few different examples in digital scrapbooking. But as usual, I wanted to experiment with my own version of stitches and cloth. So I spent the last few months creating various versions of an X stitch, as well as a back stitch, trying to get them to look at least semi-realistic, until I finally came up with something I liked. I wanted to do an alpha, but it was difficult to decide what kind of background pattern to use. There aren't really any commercial-use cross stitch patterns, so I came up with my own design!
The end result is another HUGE alpha! I have broken them down in sets. Each set is one color, and contains 67 .jpg files (A through Z in both upper and lower case, 0 through 9, and a few misc. characters).
I have a few more Easter freebies for you today, that I hope you will like and can use. The first download is a set of Easter eggs. A friend suggested that an egg using the same design as my blog header would be pretty, so I decided to go ahead and make some, and added a couple of other designs as well.
I have been working on two Easter alphas, but was only able to finish one of them. The one I did finish, though, is HUGE! There are over 400 files included, so I decided to break the downloads down by color scheme.
I got the idea for this alpha after seeing a picture of some panoramic Easter eggs. You know... the ones that are hollow and have scenes of bunnies and flowers, etc. inside? I decided to try using the same general idea for an Alpha, and was pleased with the result. I hope you like it too, and can use it in some way.
I've been working on this alpha for a while now, and couldn't really figure out what I wanted to do. So this one sort of evolved on it's own. Hope you like it!
I have some St. Patrick's day elements partially completed, and if I can finish them, I will post them. I'm already working on an Easter alpha, and hope to post that soon.
As promised, here is the first of (I hope) several postings of Valentine's Day related elements. I like how these came out, so I may make them into an alpha at some point. What do you think?
I have a bunch of other things almost finished, and hope to be able to post them in the next couple of days.
I had some Christmas elements to post, but since the holiday is well over, I'm going to work on a few additions and post them later. Maybe I'll do a surprise Christmas in July!
Anyway, I started working on some Valentine's Day items, and the first one finished is an Alpha I decided to call Pretty In Pink. I am working on another Alpha, but don't know if I will have it finished in time for Valentine's Day, so I may save that one for later. I would like to get some other elements finished and posted first, rather than just have two alphas.
All of my designs are free for personal use only. They are not to be included in any collections to be shared or sold, nor are they to be used on any web site (personal or commercial) without my permission. These files are not to be used to create new kits or embellishments or anything else for others to download. You MAY share a preview of the item(s) and the link to my blog through email, groups and forums, but you MAY NOT share the direct download link or the items themselves without my permission. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me (dragonzgold at gmail.com). Thank you!
So you reeaaalllyyy want to know about me, huh? From my name, you've probably figured out that I'm a female. I'm 50-something and single, and am owned by one spoiled-rotten pit bull, fourteen equally spoiled-rotten cockatiels, five rare parakeets, and an assortment of fish. (Yes, they're spoiled, too!) I got hooked on digital scrapbooking a few years ago, and have been having a blast since then learning and creating and playing. I use PSP, but am also learning PS too.
