After Thanksgiving, I was working on a bunch of Christmas related elements. I had grand plans of posting lots of freebies before Christmas, but as usual, found that the time has passed so quickly between then and now that I don't have enough items finalized and ready to post. I did, however, finish a HUGE alpha. Actually, it's four alphas in one set (one character set with four different styles) for a total of 272 png files!
Here's the final installment in my Thanksgiving kit - a set of two papers. There were a few more things I was working on, but I was not able to finish them and decided to move on and work on my Christmas kit, which is already started.
Here's the next installment in my Thanksgiving kit - a cornucopia and some things to fill it with! Included in the set is the plain cornucopia and various fruits and vegetables to stuff it with, plus a cornucopia that I've already filled for you. Some of the individual elements are rather large, but can easily be resized downward.
As promised, here is the next post of items from the Thanksgiving kit I was working on. I still have at least two more sets to post after this, plus I'm going to try and finish up a few things before Thanksgiving. If I'm not able to finish them, I will post the last part of the kit after the holiday. In the meantime, here's the next part:
I have been working on a kit for Thanksgiving and was hoping I would have it finished in time, but it doesn't look like I am going to be able to manage it. So... I decided to start posting the kit piece by piece, beginning with the Alpha. There are actually two alphas - one in a Thanksgiving color pattern, and one in grayscale so you can change the color of the Alpha to coordinate with your project. Here's the patterned one:
Still having some trouble with my wrist, but I finally finished upgrading the elements from my old Halloween kit (from 200ppi to 300ppi) and actually created new versions of some of the elements rather than update them. There were so many elements in the new version of this kit that I decided to break it up into smaller pieces. Here are the previews of each one. The download links can be found below each preview.
After giving it a rest, my wrist is feeling a bit better and I was able to finish another freebie for you. This one, too, is an updated version of an Alpha I did last year for a Halloween kit (changed it from 200ppi to 300ppi):
I am working on updating or redoing some of the other items in the old kit, and hope to be able to post some more freebies for you soon. In the meantime, I hope you like this Alpha, and can use it in some way.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope you come back soon!
I haven't been able to work on much or post anything in a while. I started having trouble with my right wrist, and have been struggling just to get through my day at work. I suspect it is the beginning of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, which my mom also suffers from. I have a bunch of things in the works that I need to finish, and hope to be able to post them soon. I finally finished updating some items from an old kit I made last year called School Daze. The first of my freebies today is an updated version of the Alpha:
The rest of the freebies for School Daze include Papers, Ribbons and Ric Rac, Brads and Grommets, Buttons, a Frame, and of course, the main part of the kit, the Elements. I have uploaded each section separately (so you can download only what you like), with previews and links below. Here are the Elements:
The file containing the elements can be downloaded here.
I know it's been a while since I posted anything, but this time I have three freebies for you! The first is an alpha, the second is a set of baby-related elements, and the last one is a set of 12x12 papers in soft, baby colors. This is the Alpha:The Alpha can be downloaded here. These are the elements:The file containing the elements can be downloaded here. And last, but certainly not least, here are the papers:The zip file containing the papers can be downloadedhere.I hope you like these, and if you do, please let me know!Thank you for visiting, and I hope you come back soon!
And what would July 4th be without a flag (or two)? Not all elements are shown in the preview, but also included in the download are two other flags, a brad, a button, and two other fireworks (blue and silver):
The file containing the elements can be downloaded here.
I hope you like these, and if you do, please let me know!Thank you for visiting, and I hope you come back soon!
I have a new freebie for you today! It's a charm bracelet alpha, which comes in gold and silver:The Charm Bracelet Alpha can be downloaded here.I hope you like these, and if you do, please let me know!Thank you for visiting, and I hope you come back soon!
What a hectic week it's been! I was hoping to get my new freebie finished and posted over the weekend, but haven't had time to sit at the computer for more than a few minutes at a time. I was able to work on it during my lunch hour today, and finally finished it:
Not everything is shown in the preview. I also included a plain grayscale frame (no pearls or diamonds) so you can colorize it and decorate it to coordinate with whatever project you're working on. The description in the preview lists everything that is included in the download, which you can get here.
Thank you for visiting my blog, and I hope you come back soon!
What a struggle it's been to get this thing up and running! I have done several websites before, so I know basic CSS and XHTML, but setting up this blog was more work and harder than I expected. Hopefully everything is going to work the way I want it to. I guess only time will tell, right?
I do have a regular website which I maintain (www.dragonzgold.com), but the reason I set up this blog is that I don't have a lot of free time to devote to designing and creating. Since it takes quite a while for me to put an entire kit together, my website isn't updated very often. I thought it would be easier to share things as I create them and when a kit is complete, all of the individual items will be put together and moved to the website as a full kit.
For my grand opening, I am posting a brand new freebie:
I hope you like this Alpha. It can be downloaded here.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope you come back soon!

So you reeaaalllyyy want to know about me, huh? From my name, you've probably figured out that I'm a female. I'm 50-something and single, and am owned by one spoiled-rotten pit bull, fourteen equally spoiled-rotten cockatiels, five rare parakeets, and an assortment of fish. (Yes, they're spoiled, too!) I got hooked on digital scrapbooking a few years ago, and have been having a blast since then learning and creating and playing. I use PSP, but am also learning PS too.
